How I Created a Daily Planner to Develop My Creativity and Beat Procrastination

Most of us are urban warriors with good ideas instead of arrows. My daily planner is my fighting armor and my ”creative” helmet.
But why do I need a planner anyway? In the 21st century, if I don’t write down my tasks, I don’t do anything meaningful all day: I postpone all the important tasks with a hidden and sabotaging pleasure to lengthen distractions.
So I took Garry Kasparov’s advice:
It is better to have a bad plan than no plan.
There are tons of efficient daily planners available online but I decided to customize my planner to get the most out of it.
In this article, I’ll introduce the structure that I have perfected over the last months. Let’s start with the main sections: work and personal tasks.
Work tasks
I’m still at a 9-to-5 job, in my travel agency, and most of my daily tasks are related to it, so this is the first section of my daily planner. I only include here tasks that last more than two minutes.
